John Jackson Mincey 
John Jackson was born on May 8th, 1839.1 John Jackson's father was Abraham Mincey and his mother was Elizabeth Ann Moore. His paternal grandparents were John Mincey and Celia Hendricks; his maternal grandparents were John William Moore and Dicey Sikes. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Augustus Marion, Thomas Mickel, William Washington, James Marion, Jordan P., Henry, David, Abraham Marion, Lucinda, Celia Anne and Clarkey Ann. He was the third oldest of the twelve children.1 -
