Vera Clementine Mew 
Vera Clementine was born on April 6th, 1867 in Gillisonville, Beaufort Dist., SC.1 Vera Clementine's father was John Elias Mew and her mother was Sarah Ann Winifred Bowers. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel K. Mew and Eliza Maria Dozier. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William Aiken, John McRolly, Joseph Frederick, Eliza Rebecca, Olive Dell, Alma Blanche, Annie Augusta and Myrtle Dorothy. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 34 in 1901.1 -
