Joseph Frederick Mew 
Joseph Frederick was born about 1878 in Beaufort Dist., SC.1 Joseph Frederick's father was John Elias Mew and his mother was Sarah Ann Winifred Bowers. His paternal grandparents were Samuel K. Mew and Eliza Maria Dozier. He had two brothers and six sisters, named William Aiken, John McRolly, Vera Clementine, Eliza Rebecca, Olive Dell, Alma Blanche, Annie Augusta and Myrtle Dorothy. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died about 1905.1 -
