Ludwig Messner 
Ludwig was born in 1797.1 Ludwig's father was John Messner and his mother was Anna Catharine Mosser. His paternal grandparents were Casper Messner and Anna Barbara Elkhardt. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John, Michael, Philip Jacob, Christian, Anna Barbara, Anna Catherine, Elizabeth, Margaret and Susanna. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 69 in 1866.1 -
