Richard Knapp 
Richard was born on April 24th, 1911 in Holland, Michigan.1 Richard's father was Marinus "Martin" Antonie Knapp and his mother was Catharina "Kate" Kalkman. His paternal grandfather was John Knop; his maternal grandparents were Kryn Kalkman and Maria Hoogendorp. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Marinus, William, Kryn, Richard, Cornelius, Marie, Johanna "Anna", Marie, Elizabeth "Betsie", Elizabeth "Bessie" and Kathryn. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named John, Cora, Nellie, Hilda and Infant. He died at the age of 65 in August 1976.1 General Notes

Richard Knapp had a heart attack at the age of 57. He thought he could go back to work in a few weeks, but he did not work again and took medication for his heart the rest of his life. He died at age 65.
