Gladys Medisto was born on August 12th, 1903 in Rabun Co., GA.1 Gladys Medisto's father was George Washington Kilby and her mother was Althea Izona Justus. Her paternal grandmother was Mary Malinda Kilby; her maternal grandparents were Andrew Jackson Justus and Martha Elizabeth York. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Ferdinand Cartilue, Famous Odis, Farish, George Felmer, Geneva B., Bonnie Gay, Genus Pearl and Gertrude. She died at the age of 85 on June 14th, 1989 in Clayton, Rabun Co., GA.1 General Notes
