Geneva B. was born on February 1st, 1916 in Rabun Co., GA.1 Geneva B.'s father was George Washington Kilby and her mother was Althea Izona Justus. Her paternal grandmother was Mary Malinda Kilby; her maternal grandparents were Andrew Jackson Justus and Martha Elizabeth York. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Ferdinand Cartilue, Famous Odis, Farish, George Felmer, Gladys Medisto, Bonnie Gay, Genus Pearl and Gertrude.
