William Kelsey 
William was born on December 7th, 1808 in Edmeston, Otsego, NY.1 William's father was Solomon Kelsey and his mother was Anna Brown. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Asa, Roswell, Daniel, Silas, Calvin S., Solomon D., Joseph, Mary, Phebe and Julia Ann. He was the third youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 52 on April 24th, 1861.1 General Notes
