Silas Kelsey 
Silas was born on June 18th, 1801 in Edmeston, Otsego, NY.1 Silas' father was Solomon Kelsey and his mother was Anna Brown. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Asa, Roswell, Daniel, Calvin S., Solomon D., William, Joseph, Mary, Phebe and Julia Ann. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 69 on November 22nd, 1870.1 General Notes
