Marah Jones 
Marah was born about 1760.1 Marah's father was Cornelius Jones and her mother was Sarah Sanford. Her paternal grandparents were John Jones and Abigail Holbrook; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Sanford and Sarah Unknown. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Daniel, Jacob, Reuben, John, Oliver, Phineas, Sarah, Rebecca, Abigail, Mary and Hannah. She had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Cornelius, Daniel, Ezra, Alice, Lucy, Elizabeth and Sophia.1 General Notes
