William O. Huyck 
William O. was born on October 1st, 1831 in Huron, Ohio.1 William O.'s father was John T. Huyck and his mother was Lucinda Basil. His paternal grandparents were Henry Huyck and Catherine Teed. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Charles Mortimore, Jacob, John Teed, Mary Ann, Mercellia, Lucinda M. and Lydia. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named James M., Franklin H., Cyrucs, Ophelia and Angeline. He died at the age of 31 on January 5th, 1863 in Bertram, Linn, Iowa.1 General Notes
