John Teed Huyck 
John Teed was born on March 14th, 1840 in Huron, Ohio.1 John Teed's father was John T. Huyck and his mother was Lucinda Basil. His paternal grandparents were Henry Huyck and Catherine Teed. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William O., Charles Mortimore, Jacob, Mary Ann, Mercellia, Lucinda M. and Lydia. He was the youngest of the eight children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named James M., Franklin H., Cyrucs, Ophelia and Angeline. He died at the age of 74 on March 11th, 1915 in Wilmington Twp, Dekalb, Indiana.1 General Notes
