Lydia Huyck 
Lydia was born about 1838 in Ohio.1 Lydia's father was John T. Huyck and her mother was Lucinda Basil. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Huyck and Catherine Teed. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William O., Charles Mortimore, Jacob, John Teed, Mary Ann, Mercellia and Lucinda M.. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named James M., Franklin H., Cyrucs, Ophelia and Angeline.1 General Notes
