Jacob Huyck 
Jacob was born about 1835 in Ohio.1 Jacob's father was John T. Huyck and his mother was Lucinda Basil. His paternal grandparents were Henry Huyck and Catherine Teed. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William O., Charles Mortimore, John Teed, Mary Ann, Mercellia, Lucinda M. and Lydia. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named James M., Franklin H., Cyrucs, Ophelia and Angeline.1 General Notes
