Jesse Grant Hobson

Jesse Grant was born on September 25th, 1870 in Marshall, Parke, IN.¹ Jesse Grant's father was Calvin Hobson and his mother was Rhoda Newlin. His paternal grandparents were Jesse Hobson and Lydia Newlin; his maternal grandparents were John Newlin and Ruth Hinshaw. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Jehu Newlin, Joshua Franklin, Ervin Albert, Fred L., Marjorie, Elizabeth, Unknown and Cora Emily. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 78 on November 2nd, 1948 in Marshall, Parke, IN.¹
