Jesse Hinshaw 
Jesse was born on February 11th, 1780 in Guilford, NC.1 Jesse's father was John Hinshaw and his mother was Ruth Pike. His paternal grandfather was Jesse Hinshaw; his maternal grandfather was John Pike. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Benjamin, Jonathan, Seth, Mary and Susanna. He was the third oldest of the seven children.1 General Notes
