Mary Hinshaw 
Mary was born on July 6th, 1779 in Stokes, NC.1 Mary's father was John Hinshaw and her mother was Ruth Pike. Her paternal grandfather was Jesse Hinshaw; her maternal grandfather was John Pike. She had five brothers and a sister, named John, Jesse, Benjamin, Jonathan, Seth and Susanna. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 1 on May 12th, 1781.1 General Notes
