Benjamin Hinshaw 
Benjamin was born on December 14th, 1782 in Stokes, NC.1 Benjamin's father was John Hinshaw and his mother was Ruth Pike. His paternal grandfather was Jesse Hinshaw; his maternal grandfather was John Pike. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Jesse, Jonathan, Seth, Mary and Susanna. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.1 General Notes
