Jonathan Hinshaw

Jonathan was born on September 11th, 1784 in Stokes, NC.¹   Jonathan's father was John Hinshaw and his mother was Ruth Pike.  His paternal grandfather was Jesse Hinshaw; his maternal grandfather was John Pike. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Jesse, Benjamin, Seth, Mary and Susanna.  He was the third youngest of the seven children.  He died at 9 months old on July 8th, 1785.¹
