Achsah Vestal 
Achsah was born on November 11th, 1783 in Chatham, NC.1 Achsah's father was David Vestal and her mother was Sarah Chamness. Her paternal grandparents were William Vestal and Elizabeth; her maternal grandparents were Anthony Chamness and Sarah Cole. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named Daniel, Nathan, Joseph, Benjamin, David, Elizabeth, Sarah, Mary, Martha, Lydia, Ann and Ruth. She was the second youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 79 on July 26th, 1863 in Marshall, Parke, IN.1 General Notes
