Sarah Hinshaw 
Sarah was born on June 21st, 1807 in Guilford, NC.1 Sarah's father was Jesse Hinshaw and her mother was Eunice Gifford. Her paternal grandparents were John Hinshaw and Ruth Pike; her maternal grandparents were Jonathan Gifford and Eunice Beard. She had three brothers and three sisters, named William, Jesse, Jonathan P., Mary, Ruth and Eunice. She was the third oldest of the seven children.1 General Notes
