Mary Hinshaw 
Mary was born on April 25th, 1804 in Guilford, NC.1 Mary's father was Jesse Hinshaw and her mother was Eunice Gifford. Her paternal grandparents were John Hinshaw and Ruth Pike; her maternal grandparents were Jonathan Gifford and Eunice Beard. She had three brothers and three sisters, named William, Jesse, Jonathan P., Sarah, Ruth and Eunice. She was the second oldest of the seven children.1 General Notes
