Ernest was born on September 28th, 1873 in Mayville Tuscola Co. MI..1 Ernest's father was William Alexander Hamilton and his mother was Sarah Christina Turner. His paternal grandparents were Robert Hamilton and Charlotte Ann Day; his maternal grandparents were Robert Turner and Mary Franklin Twin. He had two brothers and four sisters, named George Henry, Roy, Mary Ellen, Alice Maude, Elizabeth Ann and Jane E.. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named James R, Andrew (Archie), Eric, John, William, Adelbert and Elrora. He died at the age of 23 on July 3rd, 1897 in Detroit Wayne Co. MI.1 -
