William Hamilton 
William was born in 1865 in East Dayton, Twp. Tuscola, Co. MI.1 William's father was William Alexander Hamilton and his mother was Mary Ann Wells. His paternal grandparents were Robert Hamilton and Charlotte Ann Day; his maternal grandparents were James Wells and Elizabeth V. Buck. He had five brothers and a sister, named James R, Andrew (Archie), Eric, John, Adelbert and Elrora. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named George Henry, Ernest, Roy, Mary Ellen, Alice Maude, Elizabeth Ann and Jane E..1 -
