Katherine Brooks Gilchrist

Katherine Brooks was born in November 1853.¹ Katherine Brooks' father was Archibald McKay Gilchrist and her mother was Margaret Davidson Mushat. Her paternal grandparents were Angus Gilchrist and Margaret McKay. She had two brothers and four sisters, named James Norman, John Mushat, Margaret McKay, Mary Davidson, Effie Christian and Theresa Anne. She died at the age of 32 on January 4th, 1886.¹
