John Mushat Gilchrist 
1 John Mushat's father was Archibald McKay Gilchrist and his mother was Margaret Davidson Mushat. His paternal grandparents were Angus Gilchrist and Margaret McKay. He had a brother and five sisters, named James Norman, Margaret McKay, Mary Davidson, Effie Christian, Theresa Anne and Katherine Brooks. He died in June 1864.1 -
