Sarah Ann Ghormley 
Sarah Ann was born on November 8th, 1867 in Tellico Plains, Monroe, Tennessee.1 Sarah Ann's father was William Green Ghormley and her mother was Malinda Jane Hunt. Her maternal grandparents were George Washington [Washie] Hunt and Mary Carolyn [Polly] Wilson. She had four brothers and four sisters, named James Napoleon, Benjamin Finley, Singleton Pleasant, William Isaac, Margaret Irene, Malinda Louisa, Mary Texie and Janie Elizabeth. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 31 on August 25th, 1899.1 -
