Thomas Clapp 
Thomas was born on June 16th, 1688 in Northampton, Hampshire, MA.1 Thomas' father was Preserved Clapp and his mother was Sarah Newberry. His paternal grandparents were Roger Clapp and Johanna Ford; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Newberry and Mary Allyn. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Preserved, Samuel, Roger, Sarah, Wait, Mary and Hannah. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 57 in 1745 in Hartford, CT.1 General Notes
