Lucy E. Burks

Lucy E. was born on September 24th, 1866 in Nebraska City, Otoe, NE.¹ Lucy E.'s father was John Milton Burks and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Maddox. Her paternal grandparents were Isham Burks and Martha; her maternal grandparents were John William Maddox and Elizabeth Newman. She had a brother and five sisters, named Lewis, Katherine A., Harriet B., Daisey Dean, Grace and Florence. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 53 on June 19th, 1920 in Lincoln, Lancaster, NE.¹
