Grace Burks

Grace was born on October 31st, 1873 in Nebraska City, Otoe, NE.¹ Grace's father was John Milton Burks and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Maddox. Her paternal grandparents were Isham Burks and Martha; her maternal grandparents were John William Maddox and Elizabeth Newman. She had a brother and five sisters, named Lewis, Katherine A., Lucy E., Harriet B., Daisey Dean and Florence. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 84 in 1957 in Boonton, Morris, NJ.¹
