John Peartree was born in 1733 in Albemarle County, VA.1 John Peartree's father was Samuel Burks and his mother was Mary Davis. His maternal grandparents were Nathaniel Davis and Mary Hughes. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Richard, Charles, Elizabeth, Mary and Frances. He died after 1770.1 -
