Samuel was born about 1703 in Albemarle County, VA.1 Samuel's father was Samuel Burks and his mother was Mary Davis. His maternal grandparents were Nathaniel Davis and Mary Hughes. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Richard, Charles, John Peartree, Elizabeth, Mary and Frances. He died before July 12th, 1753 in Albemarle County, VA.1 -
