Rebecca Beard

Rebecca was born about 1849.¹   Rebecca's father was Thomas Beard and her mother was Irene Varner.  Her paternal grandparents were John Beard and Susan Harris. She had three brothers and five sisters, named John Robert, Bainbridge Decatur, Thomas Crawford, Susan Cecilia, Julia P., Mary E. C., Clara V. and Sarah Idell.  She was the third youngest of the nine children.¹
