Serena Elizabeth Barber

Serena Elizabeth was born on October 7th, 1830 in Onslow Co., N. C..¹ Serena Elizabeth's father was Micah Barber and her mother was Elizabeth Brinson. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Barber and Serrena; her maternal grandparents were Hilary Brinson and Elizabeth Barfield. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Killis B., Joseph J., Thomas Richard, Elda Ann, Rose Ellender, Nancy, Mary Jane, Lucinda and Martha Caroline. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 82 on January 6th, 1913 in Onslow Co., N. C..¹
