Mary Jane Barber 
Mary Jane was born in 1832 in Onslow Co., N. C..1 Mary Jane's father was Micah Barber and her mother was Elizabeth Brinson. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Barber and Serrena; her maternal grandparents were Hilary Brinson and Elizabeth Barfield. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Killis B., Joseph J., Thomas Richard, Elda Ann, Rose Ellender, Nancy, Serena Elizabeth, Lucinda and Martha Caroline. She was the third youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 80 in 1912 in Onslow Co., N. C..1 -
