Killis B. Barber

Killis B. was born in 1818 in Onslow Co., N. C..¹ Killis B.'s father was Micah Barber and his mother was Elizabeth Brinson. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Barber and Serrena; his maternal grandparents were Hilary Brinson and Elizabeth Barfield. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Joseph J., Thomas Richard, Elda Ann, Rose Ellender, Nancy, Serena Elizabeth, Mary Jane, Lucinda and Martha Caroline. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 81 in 1899 in Onslow Co, N. C..¹
