C. F. Volney Baker 
C. F. Volney was born on March 23rd, 1839.1 C. F. Volney's father was David S. Baker and his mother was Mahala Welch. His maternal grandparents were Osias Welch and Elizabeth Rowland. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Jacob Israel, Elish C., John Airhart, David Hume, Unknown, Elizabeth Josephine and Mary Anne Salome. He was the third youngest of the eight children.1 -
