John Babcock 
John was born about 1669 in Westerly, RI.1 John's father was John Badcock and his mother was Mary Lawton. His paternal grandparents were James Badcock and Sarah Unknown; his maternal grandparents were George Lawton and Elizabeth Hazzard. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named James, Job, George, Elihu, Robert, Joseph, Oliver, Ann and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died on March 28th, 1746 in Westerly, RI.1 -
