Ann was born about 1665.1   Ann's father was John Badcock and her mother was Mary Lawton.  Her paternal grandparents were James Badcock and Sarah Unknown; her maternal grandparents were George Lawton and Elizabeth Hazzard. She had eight brothers and a sister, named James, John, Job, George, Elihu, Robert, Joseph, Oliver and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the ten children.1
