Clara was born in 1917 in Lewisville, Lafayette Co., AR.1 Clara's father was John Sewell and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth Orr. Her paternal grandparents were Mason Perry Sewell and Mary Jane Kitchens; her maternal grandparents were BARNEY ORINGTON ORR and MARY ANN DENNISON. She had a sister named Inez. She was the younger of the two children. She died at the age of 85 on September 4th, 2002 in El Dorado, Union Co., AR. She was buried in 2002 in Fredonia Cemetery, Union Co., AR.2 3 General Notes
