Cynthia was born about 1817 in Grayson Co., KY.1 Cynthia's father was William Jr Anderson and her mother was Sarah. Her paternal grandparents were William Anderson and Jennet Mebane; her maternal grandparents were William Willis and Elizabeth Garnett. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Gideon, Eathel Sr, William III, Reason, Joseph, John Roger, Mary, Phoebe Larue, Sarah E, Elizabeth and Martha Jane. She died in 1870 in Grayson Co., KY.1 General Notes
