JAMES A was born about 1818 in Grayson Co., KY.1 JAMES A's father was William Dennison and his mother was Jennie Jane Barnes. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Dennison and Drucilla; his maternal grandparents were Josiah Barnes and Elizabeth Trammel. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Daniel, Tramel, Henry D, Joseph(Josiah) S, Catherine, Susan Anderson, Martha Patsy, Nancy Ann and Elizabeth A Betsy. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died in September 1860 in Grayson Co., KY.2 General Notes
