Henry D was born in 1809 in VA.1 Henry D's father was William Dennison and his mother was Jennie Jane Barnes. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Dennison and Drucilla; his maternal grandparents were Josiah Barnes and Elizabeth Trammel. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Daniel, Tramel, JAMES A, Joseph(Josiah) S, Catherine, Susan Anderson, Martha Patsy, Nancy Ann and Elizabeth A Betsy.
