Mason Perry was born on March 23rd, 1844 in Campbell Co., GA.1 Mason Perry's father was Asa Sewell and his mother was Nancy Maria Mitchell. His paternal grandparents were Joshua L Sewell and Jennie Willis. He had five brothers and five sisters, named James H, John J, William Asa, Henry G, Wilie, Elizabeth Jane, Martha T, Harriet F(Henrietta), Orra S and Nancy C. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 62 in 1906 in Lafayette Co., AR. He was buried in 1906 in Sewell Cemetery, Lafayette Co., AR.2 3 General Notes
