Mildred Childe was born in 1846 in Alexandria, Fairfax, VA, USA.1 Mildred Childe's father was Gen Robert Lee and her mother was Mary Ann Custis. Her paternal grandparents were Henry lll Lee and Ann Hill Carter; her maternal grandparents were George Washington Parke Custis and Mary Lee Fitzhugh. She had three brothers and three sisters, named George Washington Custis, William Henry, Robert Edward, Mary Custis, Anne Carter and Eleanor Agnes. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 27 on November 5th, 1873 in Ravensworth, Arlington, VA, USA.1 -
