Anne Carter Lee 
Anne Carter was born on June 18th, 1839 in Alexandria, Fairfax, VA, USA.1 Anne Carter's father was Gen Robert Lee and her mother was Mary Ann Custis. Her paternal grandparents were Henry lll Lee and Ann Hill Carter; her maternal grandparents were George Washington Parke Custis and Mary Lee Fitzhugh. She had three brothers and three sisters, named George Washington Custis, William Henry, Robert Edward, Mary Custis, Eleanor Agnes and Mildred Childe. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 23 on October 20th, 1862 in Jones Springs, NC, USA.1 -
