Benjamin Monteith Douglass

Benjamin Monteith was born on October 16th, 1851 in New Ireland, Godmanchester, PQ, Canada.¹   Benjamin Monteith's father was Robert Douglass and his mother was Martha Monteith.  His maternal grandfather was William Monteith. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named John, Benjamin, Mary, Margaret, Matilda Lillian, Elizabeth, Ellen Jane, Louisa Porter, Sarah Ann and Cecelia.  He was the second youngest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 82 on May 10th, 1934.¹
