Sally was born in 1807 in Caldwell Co., KY.1 Sally's father was Tacy Cooper and her mother was Jane Orr. Her maternal grandparents were Alexander Orr and Martha. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Alexander, Francis, Martha, Polly, Nancy, Margaret, Elizabeth and Jane. She was the third oldest of the nine children.-
