Elizabeth was born in 1818 in Caldwell Co., KY. Elizabeth's father was Tacy Cooper and her mother was Jane Orr. Her maternal grandparents were Alexander Orr and Martha. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Alexander, Francis, Martha, Polly, Sally, Nancy, Margaret and Jane. She was the second youngest of the nine children.-
