Robert Carter 
Robert was born in 1704 in Corotoman, Lancaster Co., VA. Robert's father was Robert Carter and his mother was Betty Landon. His paternal grandparents were John Carter and Sarah Ludlow. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Charles, Ludlow, Landon, George, Anne, Sarah, Betty, Mary and Lucy. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named John, Elizabeth, Sarah, Judith and Judith II. He died at the age of 28 in 1732.-
